Transcription - Method

Our preferred method is to receive digital files by uploading to our web site using our online secured ftp application - this is both easy and fast to use.

We also offer a PC-based application using your PC - or mic-in plug - as a recorder, with the recording sent over the internet to our web site.

Thirdly, in the States we also offer mobile or land line telephone numbers to call which allow you to record your message over the phone. This service can be expanded to include many other countries on request.

Our workflow system ensures that priority is given to short turnaround times or for customers with lengthy dictations.

Our system (and, just in case, its backup) is the backbone to the operation, knowing the agreed turnaround times, the format options agreed with each customer and the client-specific team members.

For lengthy dictations, the file is automatically split over several transcribers to ensure the delivery time is met. To ensure quality, the transcript is again formed into its whole, proof-read and then edited to ensure that mistakes are kept to an absolute minimum.

If you require one or more formats for your dictations, we will maintain these for you, and you just tell us which format to use at the start of each dictation.

As we work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year we can offer a host of turnaround times - including weekend and public holiday deliveries.

The completed transcript will be either sent to your email address(es) stored by our system or we can upload them to our web site or FTP server where you can login and download them as, when and where you wish.
